WHAT IS M2M?

Machine-to-Machine m2m refers to the technology that enables different devices to communicate with each other wired or wirelessly. With M2M technology, a device in the field collects environmental events and transmits the data collected to a different device in a remote location. Examples of events in the field are ambient temperature, humidity in the environment, reading an electricity or water meter, the status of meters.
